At Vita Nova Massage, which translates to "New Life," I offer a deep full-body fusion massage experience for clients wanting pain relief while feeling at home in their bodies. I have created a very unique style of massage where I use my legs as much as my arms which allows me to simultaneously massage different areas of the body. I may sit, lean, and get over and under my clients for a lovely combination of movement, stretching, and massaging. All of which helps to integrate the nervous system with my soft tissue work. I also check in and inform my clients throughout their sessions to make sure that they are comfortable.
This popular session duration offers the time and space for whole-body massage and focused, comprehensive bodywork. Drawing from Deep Tissue, Ashiatsu, Latino-Thai Massage, and other therapeutic techniques, this treatment is strong yet relaxing and designed to address chronic tension, support nervous system regulation, and create meaningful change. The extended format allows for detailed attention where needed by integrating movement and stretches in various positions and angles while simultaneously applying deep tissue techniques.
This session duration is recommended for either a whole body massage or to treat 1-2 specific treatment areas. Both can be achieved if the focus areas are easily receptive to the treatment styles. This session blends depth with flow, using a combination of Deep Tissue, Ashiatsu, Latino-Thai massage, and other modalities. Techniques are applied with both precision and care, firm when needed, fluid when helpful, promoting sustained relief and a renewed sense of ease throughout the body.
This extended session allows for ample time to massage and stretch the body in various poses and transitions. Deep Tissue, Ashiatsu, Latino-Thai massage, and other therapeutic techniques are still included and applied at an even slower pace to conquer chronic tension while bringing peace to the body and mind.
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the session details. If you have any questions or issues with the booking system, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve lasting results.
Use the notes section or intake form to let me know any areas of tension, prior injuries, or specific goals for your session. This input helps shape a treatment that’s responsive and aligned with what your body actually needs—supporting clarity, comfort, and effective results
Select a time that gives you space to be fully present. My booking system provides flexibility—choose a slot that allows for focused work without rushing. Plan your time so you can arrive relaxed and ready to engage with the treatment.
Consider what you're working with—whether it’s chronic tension, nervous system fatigue, or a need for overall reset. Choose a session length that matches your current capacity and goals. A shorter session can help you regroup; longer sessions offer time for deeper work and full-body integration.
Yes! Please select Prenatal Fusion Massage when booking and be sure to detail a current history of your pregnancy and if there are any complications in the paperwork, so I can modify the session to your comfort and safety. For more information on bolstering and positioning click here.
I am not accepting any more clients under the age of 18. Pediatric massage is a specialty on its own. And my work is evolving to be more intimate yet therapeutic. In my practice, I may sit, stand, kneel, or get under a client for certain styles of massage and bodywork. I would not be comfortable using this on a minor.
Before every massage, we discuss your massage preferences, goals, and any areas to avoid or modify around health conditions. Regarding the initial paperwork, I will ask how much communication you prefer. Generally, I will check in periodically to ensure my client's comfort throughout the massage. Some conversations can help a client settle into the session, but I encourage all my clients to enjoy their session in silence. It allows me to be more intuitive. Some clients seek an engaging massage therapist, meaning they will tell clients to breathe or to contract a muscle and hold certain positions. I prefer my clients to zone out and let me do most of the work. In the future, I would love to get trained in breathwork and sports massage styles that involve more communication, but I feel my best now in silence.
My location is stair-access only, but because I'm on the main floor, I have an ADA ramp for the front entrance's porch steps. My studio is next to ADA-accessible restrooms, and I have an electric ADA-accessible massage table. For more information on the entryway and table dimensions or specialized cushions I offer, click here.
I only provide table massage therapy at my office. My specialized table and cushions allow clients to receive massages lying on their back, stomach, sides, or sitting.
Currently, I am unable to because I am a one-woman operation.
Other practitioners in the building occasionally burn incense and diffuse essential oils. Generally, it is rare that the scents are strong, and they don't travel into my studio. My practice is scent-free due to my extensive plant-based allergies. In the future, if I can ever use aromatherapy again, I will always get client consent first. I primarily use pure avocado oil. When you complete your online paperwork, please list any allergies or sensitivities and let me know if there are ever any changes.
Draping styles vary around the world, but in Washington State, draping is mandatory, and the genitals must remain covered. Consent is required for certain draping and massage techniques. Toni and the client will discuss draping preferences before the session to ensure mutual trust and comfort. During the massage, Toni will periodically check in to ensure the client’s comfort. The client can request to adjust the draping to a more conservative style at any time.
Annual written consent is required for modified draping before the session, or if a client wishes to switch from conservative to modest draping. Depending on the client and the type of massage, including those involving movement or stretching, Toni may use more conservative draping.
There is no genital or perineal massage (massage of the tissues between the anus and genitals). Any illicit or sexual comments or behavior will result in immediate termination of the session, and the client will be liable for full payment. To maintain professional boundaries set by law, the massage therapist does not date clients.
Due to a full schedule with regular clientele, I am no longer able to book appointments by phone, email, or text. If you have any questions, please email me at toni@vitanovamassage.com. I will respond within 1-3 business days, Monday through Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM. I recommend booking appointments at least two months in advance, as availability can be limited. A credit card is required to reserve a session, and new clients must pay a 50% deposit for their first appointment.
Cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling, refusal to complete required paperwork, inappropriate behavior, or requests to shorten the session within 48 hours will incur the full charge for the scheduled service. There are no exceptions unless you can find someone to take your appointment. Unforeseen cancellations result in significant loss to my business.
Please bring a valid state-issued ID for verification and arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for parking, restroom use, and to relax in the waiting area. First-time clients should text (253) 455-3491 upon arrival, and I will greet you shortly. Thank you for your patience.
In Washington State, massage therapy falls under healthcare. It is required to collect your name, address, birth date, consent, and information about your health. If the link isn't working, please let me know asap. Your session may get rescheduled if it's not completed 72 hours before your appointment. For new clients, it's due same day when you book your first appointment, or it will get canceled. I need to make sure I am the right fit. New allergies or sensitivities to lotions and oils may not get substituted without enough notice. All fields require an answer, or it will not submit. New paperwork gets requested from existing clientele annually or if you've a had a significant change to your health. It ensures that we are aware of any health and studio policy changes. Before seeking massage therapy, consult your doctor, especially if you have a health condition, recent injury, or surgery.
I do not bill health insurance. I accept credit/debit cards, cash, checks from established clients, and FSA/HSA cards. Superbills are provided at the end of each month (except December, when they are sent before the holidays). Please obtain a medical prescription from your doctor that includes diagnostic codes, ICD-10-PCS for therapeutic massage, and the number of allowed treatments. It is outside my scope to diagnose, and I cannot add this information to the receipt unless I receive the prescription via email before your session. Please review your insurance coverage annually, as I am not responsible for denied reimbursements.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a massage with Toni, and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease thanks to her warm and calming presence. Toni's expertise in both Eastern and Western massage modalities was evident as she seamlessly blended techniques from Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, and Shiatsu to create a personalized and holistic experience. Her intuitive touch and attention to my comfort made the session incredibly relaxing and effective.
What impressed me most was Toni's genuine care and dedication to understanding my specific needs. She took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored the massage accordingly, ensuring the perfect pressure and focus areas. I left the session feeling not only physically rejuvenated but also mentally and emotionally balanced. If you’re looking for a massage therapist who combines skill, intuition, and a caring touch, Toni is the one to see.
I left my first session with Toni feeling like every other massage I'd ever had was a waste of time. She is truly remarkable. Her approach to massage therapy is unlike anything else I've experienced, and I leave the sessions feeling reconnected to myself and counting the days until my next visit. Her practice has become a mainstay in my pursuit of whole body health, and I feel so lucky to have found her.
Toni is fantastic, I have been going to her for quite some time and a repeat/happy client. She always makes it a point to remember the details of your personal preferences to ensure you have the best experience on her table. It’s always a relief to know I have a session booked with her - she goes in tough on the areas you need her to go hard in and you always walk out feeling relaxed and relieved from pain.
Her place is spotless and clean to make for a worry free and relaxing massage. Would recommend her across the board! Extremely professional and responsive when coordinating appointments.
